I hope this is still actual, so I will submit my ghost experience.

It had happened before my awakenings when I was still a child. When I was eight years old I used to sleep alone in my own room. I went to bed like usually and suddenly I noticed a black man who was sitting at the other end of my bed where my feet were placed. He did not sit on my feet but exactly beside them. There he sat – a dark figure of a man with an outline so that I could make out his movements and his stature. He was tall and slender and he always sat there with his head/face burried in his hands as if weeping.
I was very afraid and decided to hid under my blanket to “escape”. As I re-appeared again, the man was still sitting there, weeping. When I turned on the light, he disappeared for that night.

He visited my regularly every night. From time to time I decided to sleep in the bedroom with my parents because I was so scared. I could see the black man even there when the light was turned off. I shouted to my parents: “Can’t you see the black man?” They negated it. Only I could see him. When the light was turned on, he disappeared as well.

Later his visits were accompanied with shaking movements of my bed. It moved from one side to the other so that I always had the feeling that my bed was toppling down. The toppling stopped when “my” ghost disappeared.

After four years when I turned twelve the Shadow left me as sudden as he appeared and never returned again. Shortly afterwards I had my “awakenings”. Also later I did not see the shadow ghost again and I hope that I won’t so in future.

Of course, I started to interpret those visits/hauntings, asked different questions and found many possiblities that could be but I never knew if they were/are true. My shadow ”partner” disappeared and I could not ask him for the reasons of his visits anymore.
Perhaps he was only observing me. Perhaps he just wanted my help in some matter and disappeared again as he recognised that I was too young and too afraid to help him. Perhaps he was an ambassador from another plane to point something out to me. Perhaps he was my guardian to protect me. Perhaps he studied me to learn from me. Perhaps he was my future to show me that I can also be a “ghost” for others. Perhaps he was just my friend because I had not so much of them during this time of my life. Perhaps this apparition had something to do with myself and I had projected unconsciously own matter to my environment. The shaking movements of the bed could also be interpreted as RSPK-phenomenon (spontaneous psychokinesis).
These all are only speculations.

Usually shadow people have significant differences. Mostly they have the famous shapes like the Man with the Hood, the Man with the Hat or the Old Hag. They have different shades from grey to black and move very fast. In most cases they can only be seen from the corner of the eye or in fragments.
On the other hand, shadow ghosts possess a human shape. The darker the black of the figure the more powerful it is. “Mine” was completely black except this outline that made the movements and features visible to me. It is also very astounding that my shadow ghost wanted to be “seen”. Usually shadows do not show themselves up for a long time. In my case it was the opposite. That was a bit “strange” as well.

Some further ideas and thoughts could always be very helpful and I would highly appreciate them.

What about yours? I would like to know what happened to you when you first got in touch with the paranormal.
